Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
With single-vehicle wrecks, one of my primary concerns is always about how thorough authorities were in their investigations. Too often, it turns out authorities moved on without really digging into the details because the crash was seen as a low priority.
This is why I've had cases where we did secondary investigations into a crash and found all kinds of crucial details that authorities completely overlooked. It could be authorities here were careful to focus on the facts and get the full story. Sometimes, though, telling a victim's side of the story fairly requires efforts beyond the authorities alone.
