Michael Ford Jr. Killed in Shooting in Harris County, TX
Harris County, TX — July 7, 2025, Michael Ford Jr. was killed as the result of a shooting at around 5:30 p.m. at apartments off Eastex Freeway.
Initial reports about the accident say that it happened at an apartment complex located off Eastex Freeway and Winfield Road.
According to officials, 43-year-old Michael Ford Jr. was working doing maintenance at the apartment complex. A resident was reportedly in the middle of being evicted at the time. In events still under investigation, that resident ultimately shot Michael Ford, leading to Ford's death.
Authorities charged the resident for the alleged murder of Michael Ford. Additional details are unconfirmed at this time.
