Michelle Beatriz Lopez Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident on Central Expy. in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — February 23, 2024, Michelle Beatriz Lopez was injured in a hit-and-run car accident just before 9:45 p.m. along U.S. 75.
According to authorities, 25-year-old Michelle Beatriz Lopez was traveling in a southbound Chevrolet Impala along the N. Central Expressway, U.S. 75, in the vicinity south of Live Oak Street when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a vehicle of unknown make or model attempted a lane change at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the back left corner of the Impala and the front right corner of the other vehicle. The person(s) in the suspect vehicle allegedly fled the scene, failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. The collision had caused the Impala to spin to the right, coming to a stop after crashing into the freeway barrier.
Lopez incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
