Motorcyclist Killed in Garbage Truck Accident on State Road 436 in Orange County, FL
Orange County, FL — May 2, 2023, a motorcyclist was fatally injured in a garbage truck accident at around 5:20 a.m. along State Road 436.
Preliminary information about the crash given by Florida Highway Patrol officials says that the crash happened at the intersection of State Road 436 and Sheeler Avenue.

According to initial details, a 57-year-old Apopka man was on a motorcycle traveling through the intersection of State Road 436 and Sheeler. While doing so, it appears a garbage truck was making a turn off Sheeler onto S.R. 436. Somehow, the vehicles crossed paths, resulting in a collision.
The unidentified motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. No one on the truck was said to have been injured. No other vehicles were mentioned by authorities.
