17-year-old Killed in Motorcycle, Truck Accident on Ritner Highway in Cumberland County, PA
Cumberland County, PA — May 8, 2023, a 17-year-old on a motorcycle was killed due to a semi-truck accident at around noon along Ritner Highway.
Investigators with the Pennsylvania State Police reported that the collision happened in the West Pennsboro Township area near the intersection of Ritner Highway (U.S. 11) and Hilltop Lane.

Preliminary information in local media indicates that a 17-year-old was riding on a motorcycle along the highway. Details suggest that a tractor-trailer was pulling out of a driveway and crossed paths with the motorcycle. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The teenager riding the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The victim has not yet been identified publicly. Right now, there are no other injuries reported.
