One Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 20 in Midland, TX
Midland, TX — July 12, 2023, one person sustained injuries as the result of a multi-truck accident at around 6:09 p.m. along Interstate 20.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash involved at least three vehicles along eastbound lanes of I-20 near mile marker 131.
It appears that a Ford F-150 was going along the interstate approaching the Loop 250 exit. While attempting to exit, an 18-wheeler reportedly crashed into the F-150. Following this initial collision, a Chevy truck pulling a trailer hit the 18-wheeler.
As a result of the collisions, one person in the Ford had apparently incapacitating injuries. The driver, a 36-year-old man, was left in unspecified condition. There were no other reported injuries following the accident. No further information from authorities can be confirmed at this time.
