4 Injured in Truck Accident on S.H. 43 in Tuscumbia, AL
Tuscumbia, AL — April 3, 2024, four people were injured in a truck accident just before 3:30 p.m. along Jackson Highway, S.H. 43.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at the U.S. 43 and S.H. 72 intersection on the east side of Tuscumbia.
The causal factors that led to the accident remain unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler side-swiped at least one vehicle, and ran over the top of a Chevy Equinox. The woman from the Equinox and three other victims reportedly incurred injuries of unknown severity. They were each transported to local medical facilities in order to receive necessary treatment.
