An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the morning hours of September 26th. According to official reports, Nancy Taylor was travelling in a Cadillac SRX on Fairmont Pkwy in the westbound lanes, at the Fairway Plaza Dr. intersection, when a Kia K900 coming from the north ran a red light and collided with Taylor’s vehicle.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Taylor had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident, including the status of Taylor’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
