One Injured in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident on Roosevelt Ave. in San Antonio, TX
San Antonio, TX — February 25, 2023, one person was injured by an alleged drunk driver around 4:45 p.m. on Roosevelt Avenue in San Antonio.
Crash investigators report a Mitsubishi was turning left into a parking lot when it was rear-ended by a Kia. Officials report the Kia then also veered left, drove across a grassy median, and crashed into a telephone pole.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the driver of the Kia walking along Roosevelt Ave away from the crash location, reportedly intoxicated. Police recommend charging the Kia driver with Driving While Intonxicated and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
The driver of the Mitsubishi purportedly suffered minor injuries.
