Authorities indicate that on October 14, an accident occurred when a vehicle crashed in Gun Barrel City for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before 9:25 at night. Investigators say a vehicle traveling along Legendary Lane suddenly veered off the road and crashed into a tree. The cause of the collision has not been released at this time.
Police say the driver was extricated from the wrecked vehicle and flown to an area hospital for medical attention. The driver's current condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported.
