One Killed, One Injured in Car Accident in Fort Worth, TX
Fort Worth, TX — March 16, 2023, one person was killed and another was injured in a car accident around 7 p.m. on the Northeast Loop 820 in Fort Worth.
Authorities report a pickup truck was westbound in the toll lane of Northeast Loop 820 when the pickup truck struck the barrier poles that divide the lanes. The collision reportedly sent the pickup truck airborne and the tuck landed on top of another passenger vehicle also traveling westbound.
The driver in the passenger vehicle suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash when EMS arrived. The driver of the pickup truck was reportedly uninjured.
The names of the individuals involved in this crash have not been released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. There are no other updates at this time.
