Paul De La Torre Injured in Car Accident on I-2 in Alamo, TX
UPDATE (April 17, 2025): Further information identified the motorcycle rider as 18-year-old Paul de la Torre. The accident remains under investigation.
Alamo, TX — April 12, 2025, a motorcyclist was injured as the result of a car accident that happened along Interstate 2/Expressway 83.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it took place in the area of Cage Boulevard.

Right now, exact details remain unclear. It appears that a motorcycle and another vehicle on the interstate crossed paths, resulting in a collision. The motorcyclist was thrown to the roadway and reportedly sustained critical injuries.
Others involved were reportedly checked out on the scene. At this time, additional details about the crash are unavailable.

There isn't a lot of information available right now, and I just hope authorities are treating this accident with the care it deserves. In my experience, motorcycle wrecks often get swept to the side because people just assume the motorcyclist was doing something wrong. I certainly don't know one way or the other if anyone was being reckless here. However, I do know that it's always best to let the evidence speak for itself. That means avoiding any kind of hasty assumptions and instead actually conducting proper, thorough investigations.
