Corpus Christi, TX — October 29, 2024, One person is injured following a pedestrian accident around 8:03 A.M. on Wooldridge Road.
According to official reports, a 17-year-old student was in the area of Wooldridge Road and Wind Hollow Road when they walked in an area that is not a cross walk and was struck by a vehicle. Unofficial reports claim that the student may have been trying to reach a school when she crossed the street.
When first responders arrived they found the student injured and transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to reports, the student was not seriously injured and will be released from the hospital soon.
