Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
People tend to jump to conclusions when it comes to pedestrian accidents. But just like any serious accident, there are plenty of factors that need to be considered before people start drawing conclusions. That includes things like lighting, signage, signals, distraction, alcohol, vehicle speeds, road markings, etc. Until all evidence is clear, it’s best folks reserve their judgments and consider there’s a family out there trying to put the pieces back together. Jumping to conclusions when there aren’t any clear facts yet is only going to make things worse.
