Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-run Accident on Padre Island Highway in Brownsville, TX
Brownsville, TX — July 10, 2023, a pedestrian was killed following an apparent hit-and-run accident at around 10:03 p.m. along Padre Island Highway.
Authorities said that the accident happened in the area of the Highway 48 and Zena Drive intersection. According to officials, a 45-year-old man was in or along the highway lanes at the time. Authorities believe that a vehicle hit that man, but there is no identified driver or vehicle at this time.
The victim succumbed to fatal injuries as a result of the accident. An identity is not currently available. No further information about the accident can be released at this time.
