Woman Killed in Pedestrian Hit-and-run Accident on I-610 Service Road in Houston, TX
Lubbock, TX — October 22, 2023, a woman was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run car accident at 2:40 a.m. along the North Loop West service road.
According to reports, a woman—whose identity has yet to be verified—was allegedly on foot in the North Loop West service road lanes at Citadel Plaza Drive when, for unknown reasons, she was struck by a vehicle.
The make and model of the vehicle which struck the woman is unknown. A person unconnected to the incident saw the woman's body lying in the road made a 9-1-1 call.
When emergency services arrived on the scene, they pronounced the woman deceased. The incident is still under investigation and no further details are available at this point in time.
