Dallas, TX — August 8, 2025, one person was injured due a pedestrian hit-and-run accident around 3:14 a.m. along Skillman Street.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened between Audelia Road and Forest Lane, just off the LBJ Freeway.
Investigators said that a 29-year-old man was on foot at the time along Skillman. While there, a northbound vehicle struck the man, then reportedly left the scene. The pedestrian was seriously injured.
Authorities did not release additional details about the runaway driver. No further information is available.

If authorities are able to release any more information about the runaway vehicle, they really should. One of the best tools available to them is the general public. Hit-and-runs are often resolved because someone in the community is able to connect new dots authorities couldn’t. Even weeks or months following an accident, new details can come to light and lead to a resolution.
