Pedestrian Killed in Truck Accident on SE 208th Street in Kent, WA
Kent, WA — December 29, 2025, one person was killed due to a semi-truck versus pedestrian accident around 4:43 a.m. along SE 208th Street.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place between the intersections with 108th Avenue SE and 116th Avenue SE.
Investigators said that a 31-year-old Auburn man was on foot at the time. While on travel lanes of 208th Street, a semi-truck hit the pedestrian. As a result, the Auburn man was killed. Authorities say there was a secondary collision, but no other injuries were confirmed.
Authorities say that they looked at video of the accident from a dash cam. The incident remains under investigation at this time.

Video of a crash i obvious a crucial piece of evidence to secure. What isn't clear, though, is if officers simply watched the video or if they downloaded it so the victim's loved ones could have that vital piece of evidence. It always surprises people when officers say they saw video of a crash only to find out no one actually saved it. Regardless of what happened here, it's important for the victim's loved ones to have all the facts. Securing evidence and having it available to the family should always be a priority.
