Pedro Garcia Killed in Car Accident in Odessa, TX
Odessa, TX — April 24, 2023, Pedro Garcia was fatally injured following a car accident at around 7:20 a.m. along Highway 80.
Initial details about the crash were said to have been released by officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety. They reportedly say the incident occurred off the intersection of Highway 80/Business 20 and County Road 1290.

It appears that 60-year-old Pedro Garcia was in a vehicle going along the eastbound lanes of the highway. Ahead, officials report that a Dodge Ram initially going westbound attempted to make a u-turn at the intersection. As the Dodge Ram made the u-turn, Garcia's vehicle crashed into the pickup.
As a result of the collision, Pedro Garcia sustained fatal injuries. Details about the other driver's condition are not available at the time of writing. It's also unclear what particular factors authorities are looking into at this moment. They did not mention any pending charges or citations. Investigations are still ongoing.
