Juvenile Injured in Alleged DWI Accident on Mykawa in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — April 25, 2023, a juvenile was injured following an alleged DWI driver accident that happened at 3:00 a.m. along Mykawa Road.
Preliminary details about the crash indicate the incident happened "overnight Tuesday," though details were not made available until Saturday, April 29. It happened in the area of Mykawa Road and Dixie Drive.

Information from authorities is still limited at this time. Right now, public details say that a juvenile was in a Houston Police Department vehicle which was at a stop light along with another HPD vehicle and a pickup. At that light, police say a Jeep failed to stop, causing it crash into the pickup. This caused a chain-reaction involving the police vehicles, as well.
Following the collision, the juvenile that was in the police vehicle was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. There is no mention in the news at this time about others being injured. Police say they arrested the driver of the Jeep on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. They have not provided additional details about the crash.
