Three Injured in Possible Drunk Driving Accident on Texas Avenue in El Paso, TX
El Paso, TX — September 10, 2023, three people were injured following a possible drunk driving accident at around 1:28 a.m. along Texas Avenue.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it took place at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Dallas Street.

According to officials, a 33-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were in a Ford Taurus going westbound on Texas Avenue. At the Dallas Street intersection, authorities say that a Chevy Silverado failed to yield at a stop sign, resulting int a collision. The pickup then ran off-road where it hit a parked trailer.
As a result of the collision, the woman driving the Ford had apparently incapacitating injuries. The man in the Ford was said to have non-incapacitating injuries. It appears the Chevy driver had minor injuries. Authorities say that the Chevy driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time, but this can't yet be confirmed.
