Ralph Lyttle Killed in Log Truck Accident in Whitley County, KY
Whitley County, KY — April 27, 2023, Ralph Lyttle was fatally injured due to a log truck accident at around 11:30 a.m. along Cumberland Falls Highway.
Preliminary details provided by Kentucky State Police officials indicated that the fatal wreck took place at the intersection of Cumberland Falls Highway and Angel Road, northwest of Williamsburg.

According to initial statements from authorities, 86-year-old Ralph Lyttle was the driver of a vehicle traveling along Angel Road. At Cumberland Falls, that vehicle was making a left turn off Angel Road. While doing so, a southbound log truck on the highway slammed into Lyttle's vehicle.
Lyttle sustained injuries due to the collision which ultimately proved to be fatal. No others were said to be injured due to the crash.
