Rames Gonzalez Jr. Killed in Bicycle-Car Accident in Weslaco, TX
Weslaco, TX — September 23, 2023, Rames Gonzales Jr. was was killed in a bicycle-car crash on Mile 4 West Road, north of Mile 11 North Road in Weslaco, TX.
Authorities indicate that on September 23, a fatal accident occurred when a bicyclist and a pickup truck collided in Weslaco for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 8:36 in the morning.
Investigators say a man was walking along Mile 4 West Road when the pickup hit him. The man was reportedly walking northbound with his bicycle on the side of the roadway. Sources say the truck hit the man and left the accident scene, but this has not been confirmed. Authorities are still investigating.
Officials confirmed the man, Rames Gonzales Jr., suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported. No further information is available at this time.
