Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
I've seen some surprise in the news and from the public about a driver being intoxicated this early in the day. It happens, though. I've handled hundreds of cases involving intoxicated drivers, and not all of them happen late at night or in the hours just after midnight.
Regardless of time of day, though, it's clear the behavior shown in the news by this suspect was anything but usual. It's important investigators look into what all led up to this accident so those affected can take steps forward with as much information as possible helping to tell their side of the story.
