Regan Saunders Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Dewitt County, TX
Dewitt County, TX — September 9, 2023, Regan Saunders was killed following a single-vehicle accident at around 8:44 p.m. along Old Goliad Road.
According to officials investigating the crash, it took place off the corner of Old Goliad (County Road 411) and Hopkinsville Road (County Road 429).

Authorities said that 23-year-old Regan Saunders was going southbound along Old Goliad at the time. At Hopkinsville, the vehicle somehow crossed the intersection and ran off the side of the road. It careened through the area before crashing into a dirt mound.
Saunders sustained fatal injuries due to the crash. There were no other reported passengers, and there is no mention of other vehicles being involved. The cause of the accident cannot be confirmed at this time.
