Ricky Wayne Hall Killed in Forklift Accident in Amarillo, TX
Amarillo, TX — February 15, 2022, Ricky Wayne Hall was killed as the result of an accident involving a forklift on a work site along West Farmers Ave.
Preliminary details provided in a public statement released by Occupational Safety and Health Administration investigators say that the incident happened at 9:30 p.m. at 1901 West Farmers Avenue, said to be the location of the company Cooper Crouse-Hinds. Google Maps images, however, show a business called Eaton Crouse-Hinds. It's unclear why this discrepancy exists.

According investigations, 56-year-old Ricky Hall was doing cleaning work at the time. Somehow, a forklift ran over Hall, resulting in fatal injuries. It's unclear how this incident occurred nor whether or not the forklift was being operated by a co-worker.
While the cause of the accident is unspecified, OSHA statements listed at least two suspected rule violations. The reports list those alleged violations as "serious," and a fine of at least $14,357 was apparently recommended based on OSHA findings. The current status of the investigations is unavailable at this time.
