Houston, TX — October 31, 2024, Robert Garner was killed following a scooter accident that occurred at around 11:19 P.M. on S. Shaver Street.
Authorities are investigating an accident involving a scooter and an automobile that left one person dead during the late night hours of October 31st. According to official reports, Robert Garner was travelling east on S. Shaver Street near Broadway St. on a motorized scooter when it was struck by a Toyota Tacoma. As a result of the collision, the scooter was severely damaged, and Garner sustained critical injuries.
First responders transported Garner to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries, however he would later be pronounced deceased. This accident remains under investigation and at this time no further details have been released, including whether any charges or citations will be filed.
