Austin, TX — December 18, 2024, four people were injured in a bus accident shortly before 10:30 a.m. along South 1st Street.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the vicinity of the West William Cannon Drive and South 1st Street intersection.
Details surrounding the accident remain scarce. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place involving a bus and at least one passenger vehicle. Photographs of the scene which have been published in the news depict the bus overturned and resting on its left side. Of the three people transported to local medical facilities by EMS for treatment, one was said to have serious injuries.
