Rosa Zavala Killed, Manuel Alexander Injured in Car Accident in Fort Worth, TX
Fort Worth, TX — February 2, 2023, Rosa Maldonado Zavala was killed in an auto accident around 11 p.m. on MLK Freeway in Fort Worth.
Crash investigators report that a Chevy Silverado was disabled on the northbound MLK Freeway in two lanes of traffic due to a previous accident and that another driver, identified as Manuel Alexander, was outside of a vehicle attempting to push the Silverado off the roadway.
Investigators say Rosa Zavala's GMC Sierra struck the Silverado and Manuel Alexander, then hit a vehicle parked on the shoulder of MLK Fwy. This parked vehicle then hit another parked vehicle and debris from the crash hit a third parked car on the opposite side of MLK Fwy.
Rosa Zavala was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and Manuel Alexander reportedly suffered serious injuries. The three parked vehicles were unoccupied.
