Brazoria County, TX — August 14, 2024, Ryan Baker was injured following a single-vehicle car accident at approximately 11:45 p.m. along Pearland Parkway.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Ryan Baker was traveling in a southbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on Pearland Parkway in the vicinity north of the Heaton Road intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the pickup truck failed to safely navigate a curve in the roadway. It reportedly veered to the right, leaving the road and colliding with a couple of light poles before overturning. Baker suffered apparently serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
