Commentary on San Antonio Man Semi-Truck Accident on FM 2538 in Guadalupe County
Folks tend not to pay much mind to crashes like this. It's not like a deer has insurance, after all. Some things simply can't be avoided. But there are always extenuating circumstances to consider which can change things. For example, any rollover involving a commercial is worth looking into. Investigators may find a defect with the truck is actually what led to the injuries.
There is an unfortunate issue in the trucking industry where manufacturers build trucks to the bare minimum standards, and this can lead to rollovers which should be relatively moderate becoming serious or even deadly. Is that something that happened here? Did authorities even look? That's what I mean when I say no truck wreck is ever truly simple. There's no telling what possible factors more thorough investigations could bring to light.
