Sarah Andrews Injured in Car Accident in Boyd, TX
Wise County, TX — March 7, 2024, Sarah Andrews was injured following a car accident just after 6:00 a.m. along Farm to Market 730.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Sarah Andrews was traveling in a southbound Mazda on Farm to Market 730 approaching the C.R. 4460 intersection when the accident took place.

The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet. Officials indicate that a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck occupied by a 20-year-old man was traveling at high speeds, especially when weather and road conditions are taken into account. The pickup reportedly failed to safely maintain its lane of travel, veering off of the right side of the road before being overcorrected. This caused the pickup to lose control, entering the southbound lane of traffic where it was involved in a head-on collision with the Mazda.
Andrews incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The man from the pickup truck suffered minor injuries, as well, according to reports.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
