Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
If the allegation here is true, then it's important investigators look into whether or not this was an isolated incident. Was this driver known for driving recklessly? Have they been cited before? Were they hired without a proper background check? Have other school bus drivers in the distract been involved in accidents? At the end of the day, we trust school district officials and their representatives to keep our kids safe. If they can't even ensure the kids are safe on their way to and from school, that's a big problem.
