Four Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 14 in Byron, MN
Byron, MN — April 21, 2023, four people were injured following a commercial truck accident at around 11:00 a.m. along Highway 14.
Preliminary details given by authorities say the incident happened in Olmstead County between Byron and Rochester near 10th Avenue.

Authorities said that three vehicles were stopped at a red light at the time. While waiting, a semi-truck reportedly crashed into those vehicles from behind. The crash resulted in at least four people being injured. One of them, a 35-year-old Byron resident, had injuries described as life-threatening.
Three others apparently had non-life-threatening injuries. They were identified only as the 51-year-old Miami, Florida truck driver and a 49-year-old and a 68-year-old from Wisconsin who were riding in one of the vehicles hit by the truck.
At this time, authorities have not released any additional details regarding what may have caused the crash. Their investigations are ongoing at this time.
