Woman Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on I-35E at Inwood in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — March 13, 2023, a woman had possibly serious injuries following a commercial truck accident at 7:00 p.m. along I-35E.
Preliminary details from investigators say authorities were called to the southbound lanes of Stemmons Freeway near Inwood Road.

Their details suggest that a 66-year-old Dallas woman was in a Toyota Camry traveling southbound on the freeway. While in the left lane of travel, details say that a semi-truck in the middle lane swerved to the left. It appears the truck may have been trying to avoid a collision with another vehicle. Due to this, the truck crashed into the Camry, pushing it into the median barrier. A Mazda 3 then crashed into the back of the Camry.
As a result of the collision, the woman in the Camry was said to have incapacitating injuries. No one else was reportedly injured. It's unclear if charges or citations were filed following the crash. Details about the driver the truck may have been trying to avoid are unavailable. Authorities did not give any further information about the accident.
