Pedestrian Killed in Semi-truck Hit-and-run near Bonner, MT
Bonner, MT — October 20, 2023, a pedestrian was killed by a semi-truck in a hit-and-run accident at about 1:45 a.m. along I-90.
According to reports, the pedestrian whose identity has not yet been made public was making their way west on the interstate near the easternmost crossing of the Clark Fork River.
For unknown reasons, a semi-truck traveling in the right-hand lane of the westbound I-90 struck the pedestrian and failed to stop. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is still under an active investigation. The driving conditions and whether at the time of the incident are unknown, but authorities report that they have found a semi-truck they believe to have been involved in the incident. No further details are available at this point in time.
