Sergio Alejandro Padilla-Luna Killed in Car Accident in Edinburg, TX
Hidalgo County, TX — March 16, 2024, Sergio Alejandro Padilla-Luna was killed in a car accident shortly before 6:45 p.m. along E. Monte Cristo Road, F.M. 1925.
According to authorities, a Dodge Ram pickup truck was stopped in the westbound lane of East Monte Cristo Road attempting a left turn onto southbound Tower Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a Chevy Trailblazer occupied by 34-year-old Sergio Alejandro Padilla-Luna which was westbound behind the pickup collided with the back-end of the Dodge. Padilla-Luna incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
