Sonia Vidales Killed in Alleged Drunk Driver Accident in Bexar County, TX
Bexar County, TX — September 1, 2023, Sonia Vidales was killed following an alleged drunk driver accident at around 7:40 p.m. along Aliann Road.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the crash happened in the area of the Aliann Road and Rockport Street intersection.

According to officials, 48-year-old Sonia Vidales was in a Honda Civic said to be going northwest along Aliann at the time. While doing so, police say that a Chevy Silverado crashed into the back of Vidales, sending the Honda off-road where it hit a tree.
Due to the crash, Vidales succumbed to fatal injuries. The other driver, unidentified at this time, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Authorities recommended a charge for intoxication manslaughter against the driver. The current status of potential charges is unclear pending further investigations.
