Stephanie & Wilbert Traylor Injured in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident in McCulloch County, TX
McCulloch County, TX — February 25, 2023, Stephanie & Wilbert Traylor was injured by an alleged drunk driver around 3:45 p.m. on U.S. Hwy 90 in McCulloch County.
Crash investigators report Stephanie & Wilbert Traylor's Chevy Impala was pulled off of Hwy 90 facing eastbound when a Hyundai Santa Fe failed to maintain its lane while heading westbound and sideswiped the disabled Impala.
Wilbert Traylor was reportedly standing outside the Impala preparing to change a tire and Stephanie Traylor was sitting in the backseat of the Impala when the collision occurred. Both of the Traylors purportedly suffered serious, incapacitating injuries and were transported to a hospital for medical attention.
The driver of the Hyundai Santa Fe was reportedly uninjured. Police recommended charging the Santa Fe driver with DWI, failure to drive in a single lane, and driving without a license.
