Stephen Day Killed, 2 Injured in Truck Accident in Moody, AL
Moody, AL — April 1, 2024, Stephen Day was killed and two others were injured following a truck accident at around 7:00 p.m. along S.H. 411.
According to authorities, the accident took place on State Highway 411 in the vicinity of James Taylor Road.

The causal factors that led to the accident remain unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a truck and a motor vehicle collided. 71-year-old Stephen Day incurred critical injuries, as a result of the crash. Two other victims sustained severe injuries, as well. Two of the three injured victims were flown to an area hospital in order to receive immediate treatment. The third victim was transported to a local medical facility by EMS, as well. Day, however, was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of his injuries, having later been declared deceased.
