Stuart Clark Scott Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Cooke County, TX
Cooke County, TX — April 8, 2023, Stuart Clark Scott sustained fatal injuries due to a single-vehicle accident at around 10:49 p.m. along County Road 219.
Preliminary information released by officials shows that the incident happened close to the County Road 219 and County Road 2112 intersection.

Authorities said in their initial details that 74-year-old Stuart Scott was the driver of a GMC Sierra Denali traveling northbound along County Road 219. For reasons unconfirmed at this time, the GMC Sierra left its lane and went off the left side of the roadway. There, the pickup then careened into a tree.
As a result of the single-vehicle collision, Stuart Scott sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. Details did not suggest that any other vehicles or individuals were involved in the deadly crash. Right now, investigations from authorities have yet to release information confirming an official cause for the accident. No further information is currently available.
