Teen Killed, Woman and Three Children Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Temple, TX
Temple, TX — October 21, 2023, a teen was killed, and a woman and three children were injured in a vehicle crash in the 3300 block of Charter Oak Drive in Temple, TX.
Authorities indicate that on October 21, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Temple for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened before 7:18 in the evening. Investigators say a pickup truck was traveling south along Charter Oak Drive when it allegedly crossed into northbound traffic and struck a Ford Expedition head-on. Police have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
Officials confirmed that the pickup driver, a 17-year-old male, suffered fatal injuries. Three Ford occupants, a woman and three children, reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
