Hopefully authorities continue sharing information with the public. Someone is often able to connect the dots and ID the runaway driver, which can help lead to a conclusions and possibly even charges. I think it stands out authorities mentioned the likelihood the driver involved in this knew the collision occurred. With commercial trucks, that's often the claim—that the driver didn't even know they hit something. Sometimes that's true, but other times evidence shows they and their employer knew there was a collision, and they wanted to get their story straight. Even if the collision did go unnoticed, that may have been due to distraction rather than the collision itself. Ultimately, there are countless questions in need of answers here. Hopefully the community is able to help authorities make progress for the victim's loved ones.
