Teens Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on Parr Avenue in Burnet County, TX
Burnet County, TX — September 16, 2023, two teen girls were injured following an ATV accident at around 9:30 p.m. along Parr Avenue.
Officials said in preliminary statements on the accident that it happened on a stretch of Parr Avenue off the intersection of Neal Drive.
According to initial details, two 14-year-old girls were riding on a Can-Am 4-wheeler going northbound along Parr. The ATV apparently veered off the side of the road where it hit a mailbox, ejecting both riders. As a result, the passenger on the ATV had apparently incapacitating injuries while the operator's injuries were non-incapacitating.
Authorities allege that the girl driving the ATV had been drinking. Further details surrounding the events remain unclear at this time.
