Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Regardless of what happens in a fatal work accident, Texas has the most complex work fatality laws in the whole country. Unlike other states, there isn't always a guaranteed path for a worker's family to get the resolution they need. Sometimes, it's up to them to have the evidence and tools to navigate a legal maze and fight for a conclusion that best meets their needs. OSHA may help somewhat in that regard, but their efforts are usually just one piece of the larger puzzle. Are steps being taken here, then, to ensure the victim's loved ones are working toward a proper resolution?
