Todd Lee Anderson Killed, Chanda Taylor Injured in Car Accident in Temple, TX
UPDATE (October 10, 2023): Additional public information from authorities identifies the man killed in the accident as Todd Lee Anderson.
Bell County, TX — September 16, 2023, a California man was killed and Chanda Taylor was injured after a pedestrian accident after midnight on F.M. 93.
According to officials, the incident took place in the area of the Farm-to-Market 93 and Witter Lane at approximately 12:41 a.m.

Investigators said in their statements that a 26-year-old California man was on foot at the time along the westbound lanes of F.M. 93. While the man was in the roadway, a Ford Five Hundred going westbound driven by Chanda Taylor struck the man.
As a result of the collision, the California man succumbed to his injuries following transport to a hospital. Taylor had apparently non-incapacitating injuries. Right now, there are no reported charges or citations, and the factors leading up to the collision remain unconfirmed.
