One Injured in 18-Wheeler Accident on Interstate 10 in Kenner, LA
Kenner, LA — January 23, 2023, one person was hospitalized after a collision between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck on Interstate 10 in Kenner.
Authorities say the incident happened around 4:35 a.m. along I-10 at Loyola and Williams Boulevard. Preliminary investigation suggests only that a pickup and an 18-wheeler collided in the area, after which one person was transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

Obviously there's not a lot of information about what happened here yet, but considering a person ended up in the hospital afterward I think most would agree it's important to find out as much as possible. That may mean digging deeper than police traffic investigators at the scene often do, though, so I hope authorities invest the time and care needed to ensure they have the whole story. If that doesn't happen and the trucking company sends out people to investigate on its own behalf, who'll make sure the victim's side of things is told?
