1 Injured in Truck Accident on I.H. 35 in Jarrell, TX
Williamson County, TX — March 18, 2024, one person was injured in a truck accident just before 12:00 noon along Interstate Highway 35.
According to authorities, a 57-year-old man was traveling in a northbound Mack truck on Interstate Highway 35 in the vicinity south of Ronald Reagan Boulevard when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a vehicle of unknown make and model decelerated in front of the Mack truck, causing the truck to both brake and take evasive action in order to avoid a collision with the rear-end of the vehicle. This resulted in the truck veering off of the roadway and entering a grassy shoulder before overturning. It reportedly came to a stop resting on its left side and facing south, pinning the man in the wreckage.
Once freed from the aftermath, the victim was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment for the suspected severe injuries he incurred due to the wreck. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
