Tyson James Wofford Killed in Car Accident in Comanche County, TX
Comanche County, TX — September 17, 2023, Tyson James Wofford was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle accident at 4:30 a.m. along Highway 16.
Investigators said in their preliminary statements that the incident took place along Highway 16 near the County Road 411 intersection.

Initial details show that 19-year-old Tyson Wofford was in a Toyota Tacoma which was going southbound along the highway. For reasons which can't be confirmed at this time, the vehicle ended up going off the left side of the road for some distance. There, the vehicle crashed into a tree.
Wofford's injuries ultimately proved to be fatal following the accident. It doesn't appear that any other passengers or motorists were involved in the accident, based on current public information. Authorities have yet to release additional details that can be confirmed.
