Wes Woodard Killed in Car Accident in Meadow, TX
Terry County, TX — May 1, 2023, Wes Woodard was fatally injured as the result of a car accident that happened late Monday on County Road 230.
Preliminary details released about the crash from the Texas Department of Public Safety were released to public news outlets. Those details suggest the incident happened Monday evening along County Road 230. A cross street was not provided in early reports.

It appears that 18-year-old Wes Woodard was in a vehicle that was traveling along County Road 230. For reasons which are unclear at this time, that vehicle and an oncoming vehicle somehow crossed paths. Neither driver could avoid the collision, and the vehicles crashed head-on.
Woodard had injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. Details about the other driver aren't clear, though reports suggest they had non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were confirmed. At this time, authorities continue to investigate the factors leading up to the collision.
